About Us
Family-Owned. Experience-Driven.
Burgwald Remodeling LLC is a family-owned and operated home remodeling company proudly serving the Outer Banks of North Carolina, including Dare and Currituck Counties. With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, we bring hands-on knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship to every project we take on. Our primary focus is bathroom remodeling — professional tile installation and interior remodeling — but our experience extends to a wide range of home improvement and remodeling projects. From complete bathroom renovations, custom tiled showers, and tub-to-shower conversions to kitchen remodeling, flooring, carpentry, painting, repairs, and other interior renovations, we work with homeowners to create spaces that are both functional and built to last.
Experience, Certification & Continuing Education
We believe that being experienced in the construction industry doesn't mean you stop learning. Building products, installation methods, tools, and industry standards continue to change and improve, which is why we believe continuing education is an important part of our business. We regularly take training and certification courses to stay current with new products, installation procedures, and advancements in the remodeling and tile industry. Burgwald Remodeling LLC is Wedi Pro Certified and a Schluter Certified Shower System Installer, with specialized knowledge in waterproofing and custom tiled shower systems. We also proudly maintain membership in the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA).
Quality Over Quantity
We believe quality workmanship starts with proper planning, the right products, and the right installation methods. We don't believe in cutting corners simply to get a project finished faster. Our goal is to provide our customers with remodeling work that looks great, performs properly, and stands the test of time. For custom tiled showers, we offer warranty options of up to 10 years. We also specialize in accessible bathroom remodeling, including ADA-conscious and curbless shower designs.
Whether you're planning a complete bathroom renovation, a kitchen remodel, new flooring, a custom tile project, or smaller home repairs and improvements, Burgwald Remodeling LLC is here to help. We proudly serve homeowners throughout the Outer Banks and surrounding areas, including Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, Duck, Corolla, Nags Head, Manteo, Hatteras, and communities throughout Dare and Currituck Counties.
